By the numbers
Real receipts from a real crew — the story of what bio-hazard & trauma cleanup looks like at WowClean.
“A clean home isn't a chore that got done. It's the calm you walk into after a long day.”
Bio-Hazard & Trauma Cleanup at WowClean is designed around one idea: you should never have to think about it twice. A background-checked crew, insured and bonded, arrives inside a two-hour window. They bring commercial-grade equipment and eco-first supplies. And they leave you a photo report so you never have to ask, "did they get to it?"
We started WowClean because the cleaning industry had gotten opaque — surprise fees, ghosted appointments, no accountability. So we built the opposite. Upfront prices anchored to the low end of the national average. Same crew every visit for members. A 48-hour re-do guarantee if anything falls short. It's the cleaning company we wished existed.
How it
works.
Four simple steps — from quote to WOW.

24/7 dispatch call
Speak to a certified bio coordinator any hour. We can be on-site in most metros within 2–4 hours.

Assess, contain, PPE up
Scene is contained with plastic sheeting and negative-air machines. Every technician suits up in Tyvek, P100 respirator, and double nitrile gloves before entry.

Remove, disinfect, verify
Affected porous materials are removed and bagged as regulated medical waste. Non-porous surfaces get EPA-registered hospital-grade disinfectant. ATP tests verify decontamination is complete.

Restore & certify
Odor treatment (hydroxyl / ozone), HEPA air scrubbing, structural sanitization, and a Certificate of Decontamination for insurance and re-occupancy.
Built for
people like you.
Unattended death, suicide, or trauma at home. We move discreetly, work with your funeral director, and bill insurance directly so you can grieve — not clean.
Tenant death, sharps discovery, or blood incident. We produce insurance-ready reports, coordinate with your carrier, and turn the unit fast.
Guest incidents happen. Discreet unmarked response, ATP-verified decontamination, and paperwork your legal team will actually like.
Regulated medical waste, C. diff and norovirus outbreak response, and OSHA-compliant bloodborne pathogen cleanup.
Crime-scene cleanup after release-of-scene. We coordinate with detectives, coroners, and victim-services.

More
good questions.
Every WowClean bio technician holds IICRC Trauma & Crime Scene Technician (TCST) certification, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030 Bloodborne Pathogens training (renewed annually), and where required a state medical-waste transporter license. Documentation available on request.
Unmarked white vehicles, plain uniforms, no logos on paperwork left with neighbors. We never post scene photos or discuss the incident with anyone but you, your insurance carrier, and law enforcement (when they have jurisdiction).
Regulated medical waste is double-bagged in red biohazard bags, sealed in DOT-approved rigid containers, manifested with a chain of custody, and delivered to a licensed Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facility (TSDF) — typically autoclaved or incinerated. You receive copies of every manifest.
No. We only begin work after the scene is released by police, coroner, or medical examiner. If you're unsure of scene status, we'll call and confirm on your behalf.
Our containment, PPE, and EPA-registered disinfection are specifically designed for HIV, HBV, HCV, MRSA, C. diff, and emerging pathogens. Post-decontamination the area is safer than typical residential surfaces.
Most homeowners, renters, and commercial policies cover trauma cleanup under 'sudden and accidental' or dwelling coverage. We handle the claim end-to-end and only bill you your deductible (if that). Denials are rare — we've billed thousands of claims and know the language carriers require.
Yes — infectious disease decontamination is a routine part of our bio division. Common clients include hotels, assisted-living facilities, schools, and gyms. Turnaround is typically same-day.
Sharps go into OSHA-approved rigid puncture-resistant containers and are manifested as regulated medical waste. Drug paraphernalia is treated the same. Common in tenant turnovers, encampment cleanups, and estate work.
